Award for Environmental Excellence

The Jennings County Share Some Space Pollinator Community Project was selected as the 2019 Indiana Governors Award for Enviromental Excellence for Land Use and Conservation. This award was earned for the hardwork and dedication that the Share Some Space committee, the SWCD staff and board of supervisors, and the entire Jennings County Community supporting the Pollinator Project by helping to plant new pollinator habitat here in Jennings County and surrounding counties. The Jennings County SWCD wants to congratulate and thank all of you for your hardwork. Many businesses and volunteers pitched in to make this happen and we are so proud of our community and hope that you are too!
